The Saturday nearest Valentine’s Day is always reserved for Salem United Church of Christ in Catasauqua to have its soup, salad and sweets event. This year’s event was held Feb. 15.
Guests get to relax and are served by the girls from Girl Scout Troop 6955.
The Scouts meet at the church and use it for activities.
The church offers a take-out option that is a bargain - a salad with two soups and all the sweets you can fit in the carton.
Next up is the meatloaf dinner. There is a take-out option available for this meal as well.
