Kathy L. Goulden, 63, formerly of Slatington, currently residing at Weatherwood Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly, died Feb. 10, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born April 8, 1956, in Newark, N.J., and growing up in Irvington, N.J., she was the daughter of Caroline Lorraine (Hofer) Sobin of Montana and the late Leonard P. Sobin.
She loved her family and her church and would do anything for a friend.
She enjoyed volunteer work and giving gifts, and loved to go fishing, especially with her father.
She was a historic encyclopedia who loved animals, especially Labrador retrievers and cats.
She had a creative side and loved to cook, take photographs, scrapbook and make jewelry.
Having a lifelong love of music, she saw many concerts in her lifetime, with her favorite being big band music.
She was an accomplished accordionist.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Allentown.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a younger sister, Rebecca Sobin and husband, Richard Moscinski, of Montana; niece Audrey; nephews Matthew, and Logan; and several cousins.
A celebration of her life will be offered at noon, Feb. 20 at First Baptist Church, 1808 N. 19th St., Allentown, PA 18104.
