LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Greater Northern Lehigh Restaurant Week is Feb. 23-29

Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, partner of Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, presents Winter Restaurant Week Feb. 23-29.

The weeklong event is designed to shine a spotlight on the diverse restaurants the northern part of Lehigh Valley has to offer.

Participating restaurants will offer set-price or prix fixe menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or dessert with both take-out and dine-in options. These diverse menu items are designed to satisfy a spectrum of palates, budgets and lifestyles.

This event covers Schnecksville, Germansville, Slatington, Danielsville, Walnutport and Coplay and is in its second year.

As of Jan. 24, eight restaurants have signed up to participate this year. They are Curious Goods at Bake Oven Inn, Germansville; Back Home Bagels, Schnecksville; 19th Grille at Woodstone Country Club, Danielsville; Mr. Doggy Style Hot Dog Shoppe, Walnutport; Legends Valley at the Best Station, Slatington; Mama’s Pizza, Slatington; The Art of Flavors at the Slatington Diner, Slatington; and Willow Street Pub, Coplay.

“The landscape of Greater Northern is widespread and diverse; our restaurants are no different,” said Kylie Adams, manager of affiliated chambers for GLVCC. “Restaurant Week offers an opportunity to get out and try new places and revisit old favorites while supporting our local community.”

Several businesses throughout the Lehigh Valley have come out to sponsor and support the event as well. Sponsors of the event include Keystone Technology LLC; Blue Mountain; Town & Country Gazette; Neffs National Bank; H&R Block, Walnutport; H&R Block, Schnecksville; BB&T; Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund; Times News; SVN Imperial Realty; and Home Helpers & Direct Link.

“Our Restaurant Week concept has built so much momentum across the Lehigh Valley. It is so much fun to spotlight our communities and all they have to offer,” said Jessica O’Donnell, executive vice president of affiliated chambers for GLVCC. “We have many hidden treasures in the greater Northern Lehigh area, and this is our time to showcase our participating restaurants - not only to our local residents, but to foodies across the Lehigh Valley.”
