LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

EASTERN SALISBURY COLUMN

Well, Phil didn’t see his shadow so guess we’re in for an early spring. But have we truly had a winter yet?? I’m loving the lack of snow; however, I’m sure it will come at some point. My kids are just dying for a snow day as well. In comes February – lets see how this month treats us.

The February Harry S Truman Elementary School PTO meeting is scheduled 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at Arelis Restaurant. Come out to see what’s going on at your student’s school.

Salisbury Baseball of the LV League is hosting a PJ Whelihan’s fundraiser all day long Feb. 6 for dine in or take out. Mention Salisbury baseball to your server and the team will receive 15 percent of your bill. This is valid for the location at 3395 High Point Blvd., Bethlehem only.

HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School will hold Valentine’s Day celebrations Feb. 13. If you are choosing to send in a snack for a classroom, please remember to refer to the approved snack list sent out by the district to keep all our children safe.

Feb. 13 will also be the next HST Leader in me T-shirt day.

All Salisbury Township schools will be closed Feb. 14 and 17 for professional development and to honor Presidents Day. School will re-open Feb. 18.

There will be a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in the administration building.

HST will hold kindergarten registration Feb. 20 with two sessions – 9-10:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. Please call HST to schedule a time slot. There are documents needed for registration which can be found on the salisburysd.org website. We are excited to meet the next group of incoming Falcons!

On Feb. 21, HST and WSE will have a 1 p.m. dismissal. If there are any changes to dismissal procedures for your child, please notify your respective school.

HST will have class photos taken Feb. 24. Order forms and information regarding this will be sent home soon.
