Both Liberty’s boys’ and girls’ teams defeated Easton last Tuesday by a boys’ team score of 107-74 and a girls’ team score of 104-79.
Sammy Taylor, Abby Mack, Talia Lehr, and Sarah Park opened the meet with a first place finish in the 200 medley relay in 1:56.60.
Brooke Sergent won the 200 free in 2:04.64 and the 100 butterfly in 1:01.05, Mack won the 200 IM in 2:15.82 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.93, and Taylor took first in the 100 free in 56.03 and the 100 backstroke in 1:01.12.
Maddy Drager placed first in the 500 free in 5:46.62.
Lehr, Julia Pinter, Sydney Taylor, and Sergent combined to win the 200 free relay in 1:49.13, just .78 seconds ahead of Easton.
Sergent, Sammy Taylor, Park, and Mack had the fastest time of 3:49.04 in the 400 free relay.
In the boys’ 200 medley relay, the Hurricanes came in first with Patrick Gilhool, Addison Collins, Daniel Lader, and Ben Service in 1:42.71.
Danny Lehr won the 200 free in 2:01.67, Addison Collins won the 200 IM in 2:04.66 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:02.39, and Lader took first in the 100 butterfly in 57.36.
Gilhool placed first in the 500 free in 5:23.23 and the 100 backstroke in 1:00.58.
Service, Gilhool, Caleb Stein, and Collins combined to win the 200 free relay in 1:34.24, and Stein, Trevor Lenig, Corbin Eisenhardt, and Sean McGuire swam the fastest time in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:41.54.
