Joseph Hugh Reichert, 83, of Emmaus, died Jan. 18, 2020. He was the husband of Anna Mae (Erich) Reichert. They celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late John E. and Mary A. (Breslin) Reichert.

He was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, Class of 1954.

He served in the Army National Guard.

He was a sales manager at Arrow Carrier Corp. and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by his wife; siblings, John G. (Dolores), Mary Anne Mumma (Clyde F.) and Rev. Msgr. James J.; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 23 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9 to 10:15 a.m. Jan. 23 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
