The winter season is upon us, which means inclement weather conditions. All information pertaining to school delays, early dismissals and school closings is announced on various websites and channels - whitehallcoplay.org, wfmz.com, WAEB AM 790, WFMZ FM 100.7, WLEV AM 1400, WAEB FM 104.1 and WFMZ TV Channel 69.
In the event of a two-hour delay, students may not be dropped off prior to 10:35 a.m. since school personnel also have a change in report times. In the event of an early dismissal, parents who pick up students should report to the school by the modified dismissal time.
These policies are in effect for the safety of all students.

Remember these safety reminders for the Steckel Elementary School parking lot. The drop-off/horseshoe parking lot can be a busy place around 8:35 a.m. Support the safety of the children by allowing them to get out of your idle car on the sidewalk side only. Use the horseshoe area to drop off students and then proceed cautiously.
This keeps the traffic moving and all parents happy.
