Jordan “Gordy” J. Sukanick, 86, of Whitehall and formerly of the east side of Allentown, died January 4, 2020, at home. Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Andrew and Mary (Fedor) Sukanick. He was the husband of Judy M. (Campanaro) Sukanick for 63 years.
He was an U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was on the icebreaker USS Atka.
He was a maintenance supervisor for Matlack and MTS trucking companies.
He was a member of Teamsters Local 773, and a life member of Lappawinzo Fish and Game.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lori with Jeff; four sons, Mark and his wife Barb, David and his wife Mary, Scott and his wife Kim and Matthew and his wife Claudia; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one expected blessing; cousins; nieces; nephews;and extended family.
