I hope you all had a peaceful and relaxing winter break.

One last reminder that all Salisbury Township schools are closed for the holiday break and will reopen Jan. 6.

Salisbury High School will hold its Winter Ball 7-10 p.m. Jan. 11.

There will be an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 15 in the administration building.

The South Mall is having a pet expo. Visit the mall 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 11. There will be vendors, animal rescues and the Venom Institute will showcase some of their reptiles.

The Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church would like to invite you to their community breakfast 8 to 11 a.m. Jan. 11. A few seasonal items are offered in addition to the regular menu. The regular menu consists of eggs, bacon, toast, sausage, French toast, English muffins, hash browns, coffee and juice. A donation is suggested.

The Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners is looking for residents to serve on the Civil Service Commission as an alternate. The term is six years beginning Jan. 1. If you are interested in applying, go to www.salisburytownshippa.org for more information and download the application.
