Liberty’s girls’ swim team defeated Pottsville, 102-72, during their last meet before the Christmas break at Liberty.
Top finishers in relays were Samantha Taylor, Morgan Muller, Talia Lehr, and Abby Mack in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:01.21, and Lehr, Treasa Burke, Taylor, and Mack in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:46.46.
Top finishers in individual events were Brooke Sergent in the 200 free with a time of 2:03.69, and Mack in the 50 free with a time of 25.74.
Maddy Drager, Monica Bruno, and Marlene Perez scored a one-two-three finish for the Hurricanes in the 100 butterfly with Drager’s time 1:09.36.
Taylor won the 100 free in 57.01.
In the 500 free, Sergent placed first in 5:32.75, Drager was second, and Julia Pinter was third.
Mack took first place in the 100 backstroke in 1:05.08, followed by Lehr and Taylor.
Liberty will host Stroudsburg on Jan. 2.
