Marlin Paris Newcomer, 82, of Cetronia, died peacefully on Dec. 11, 2019, in his home.
He was the husband of the late Nancy J. (Baker), who died in 2007.
Born June 17, 1937, in York, he was the son of the late John H. and Frances (Bostic) Newcomer.
He was a technician for York Heating and Air Conditioning for 30 years.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting and collecting guns, and he loved the outdoors.
He was a volunteer firefighter for many years with Cetronia Fire Company.
His survivors include a daughter Tracy Gregory and her husband, Richard; son Troy and his wife, Lori; grandchildren John and Drew Wolfe, and Samantha Newcomer; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Sprenkle.
