Bath: Museums are open Dec. 21 for tours

Governor Wolf Historical Society Museum, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be open to the public 1-3 p.m. Dec. 21.

Tours of the society’s campus will be offered.

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., will also be open to the public 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 21.

Volunteers are always welcome.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, set its Sunday school Christmas pageant for 10:15 a.m. Dec. 22.

Petersville Rod & Gun Club, 550 Club Road, is having a New Year’s Eve party. Doors open 6:30 p.m.

There will be a buffet-style dinner with music starting 7 p.m.

Free beer, soda, signature fountain drinks and coffee and tea will be available until 12:30 a.m. Jan. 1, 2020.

There will be a Champagne toast midnight.

The event is open to the public for ages 21 and over.

Reservation are required as there is limited seating.

During the month of December, Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church will help the Bath Area Food Bank by collecting canned fruits, toilet paper and paper towels.

Canned yams/sweet potatoes and Stove Top stuffing are also appreciated for the holidays.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, announced the January 2020 lottery calendars are on sale now through Dec. 31.

They make great birthday or Christmas gifts for that hard-to-buy-for person.
