Ronald R. Bauer, AT&T retiree

Ronald R. Bauer, of Allentown, died December 2, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was a son of the late Leo J. and Minnie L. (Miller) Bauer. He was the husband of the late Ruby Charlotte (Kemmerer) Bauer.

He was a Central Catholic High School graduate.

He was in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was employed by Bell Telephone and retired from AT & T, Long Lines, after 30 years. He an Avon representative for more than 40 years.

He flew his own airplane.

He is survived by a daughter, Veronica Stauffer; three sons, Robert P. and his wife Darlene, Richard P. and his wife Debra and John P.; a brother, Leo Bauer; five grandchildren: Laurie Ryden, Nicole Becker, Richard Bauer Jr., Robert Bauer Jr. and his wife Tanya and Kristy Cressman and her husband Justin; and seven great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn Sanchez and her husband Justin, Rebecca Ryden, Makenzie Cressman, Hunter Berman, Catherine Becker, Avery Bauer, Jakob Cressman and Parker Bauer.

He was predeceased by his a son, Ronald R. Bauer II; and two sisters. Geraldine Galowitch and Thelma Bauer.
