Salisbury High School’s GIVE (Get Involved, Value Everyone) club is running this year’s Third Street Alliance Necessities Drive. The club is asking for students, staff and community members to donate new and unwrapped items from a list. This list includes items like gift cards, classroom supplies and cleaning supplies. The drive is being held through Dec. 18. All donations should be brought to Mrs. Schneider’s Room 110.
Members of the 2020 graduating class should continue to check their emails for scholarship opportunities. There are also multiple links on the SHS guidance website that can provide students with information about financial aid.
The SHS winter concert is 7 p.m. Dec. 5. Students in both chorus and band will perform the winter themed songs they have been working on this semester. All community members are welcome to attend to support these SHS students.
Students should make sure that they are checking their grades on the Sapphire Community Portal. This is a website that allows students to receive the grades for their assignments electronically. Mid-marking is Dec. 6.
The fifth annual community breakfast will be held at SHS 9-11 a.m. Dec. 7. This free breakfast is a great opportunity to connect with members of the Salisbury community and will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. Interested community members should RSVP using the linkhttps://bit.ly/stsdbreakfast or by calling 610-797-2062, ext. 1000.
SHS students will have a 12:15 p.m. dismissal Nov. 27. Students will then have off for Thanksgiving break until they return to school Dec. 3.
