David Cruz, factory worker

David Cruz, 56, of Bethlehem, died November 17, 2019, in Doylestown Hospital after a long illness. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Jose and Angela (Soto) Cruz. He was the husband of Vernitha Wright for 30 years.

He was a factory worker for most of his life until becoming disabled.

Although not belonging to a particular church he was a Christian.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dominick Cruz of Bethlehem; four stepchildren, Jamel Wright of Bethlehem, Akima Wright of Georgia, Jovan Wright of Brooklyn and Janiece Palmer of Brooklyn; a brother, Jose Cruz; a sister, Blanca Laboy of Brooklyn; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
