Walt Pumm was 83 years young when he was called home on Oct. 25, 2019.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter E. Pumm and Grace (Olewine-Pumm) Huber.

A proud, loving, charismatic and effervescent man, he loved reminiscing about the years he proudly served his country in the Air Force and lived abroad in Germany.

He worked for Mack Trucks for 15 years on the assembly line and was a proud member of the UAW and loved to do crossword puzzles.

Married this past June for 60 years to his wife, Mae (Santee) Pumm, he loved his family above everything.

He had a special heart and loved in ways that not all men could.

He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.

He leaves behind his wife Mae; daughters Susan (Pumm) Scott and Pamela Pumm-Wotta; son Walter R. Pumm Jr.; brother Jeff Johnson; granddaughters Michelle (Pumm) Berger and Megan Morton; grandson Cameron Morton; and three great-grandchildren.

His memorial service will be private.
