Pastorius Home Association each year recognizes high school seniors from local schools for their interest and achievements in the study of German language.

This year’s honorees included Northwestern Lehigh High School student Medina Rose McAvoy.

Each honoree was presented “The Pastorius Award for Excellence in German Studies,” letters of recognition, a subscription to German Life magazine and $50 college expense grants as outstanding 2018-2019 school year German students.
