Russell Hoysan Sr., electrician

Russell Hoysan Sr., 87, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 10, 2019, at Phoebe Health Center. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Salak) Hoysan. He was the husband of Olga (Beleykanich) Hoysan.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was later with the National Guard.

He was an electrician at and was retired from the Bethlehem Steel. He then worked as a courier for Quest Diagnostics.

He was a member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Russell Jr. and his wife Michele, Deborah and her husband Salvatore Nicrone, John and his wife Michelle and Maryanne and her husband Billy-Joe Gross; five grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Cody, Ryan, and Jenna; and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Caleb.

He was predeceased by a brother, Walter.
