Pediatric surgeon at LV Reilly Hospital

Wellington Davis III, MD, has joined Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital as its first pediatric plastic surgeon.

Davis will be seeing patients at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, and the Health Center at Richland Township, Quakertown.

Conditions Davis treats include: cleft lip and cleft palate; unusual birthmarks, such as congenital nevi, giant congenital nevi and hemangiomas; craniosynostosis (premature closing of one or more cranial sutures, which can result in an abnormal head shape); facial and ear reconstruction; gynecomastia (enlarged breast tissue in boys); macromastia (enlarged breasts in female teens and young adults, causing neck or back pain); syndactyly (webbed fingers or toes) or extra digits; skin lesions on the face and neck; repair from dog bites and other trauma, and acute and chronic wounds in children.

Davis practiced at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, for the past 12 years.

Davis completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, and his fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.
