MOORE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Two candidates are seeking a seat on the Moore Township Board of Supervisors.

Joseph S. Lattemann Sr. and Dan Piorkowski are vying for a six-year term.

We asked the candidates the following question:

What qualities do you believe voters are looking for in a township supervisor?

Well, I should hope they’re looking for honesty and integrity and a man who can make tough decisions when needed and someone that’ll look at the whole picture through glasses without blinders and be there for all the people. A township supervisor is someone the members of the community look to represent them and make their voices heard. One voice for the many, someone that understands what they are feeling and will best represent their interest. Someone that cares for their community and will use their best judgment to protect it. The person should share the same values as its community. However, the main thing a voter looks for is someone that will actually listen to what they have to say. How can someone represent a community when they do not listen to what the community wants or needs?
