Two candidates, Michael P. McGonigle and Gerald L. Pritchard, are vying for one seat on the Lehigh Township Board of Supervisors. The position is a six-year term.
We asked the candidates the following question:
What qualities do you believe voters are looking for in a township supervisor?
Republican
Gerald L. Pritchard
My name is Gerald L. Pritchard (Jerry). I am no politician. I am the father of two adult children and work in my father’s drywall business for 30 years. I have coached youth sports in Lehigh Township for years. I have been attending Lehigh Township meetings, so I know the issues. Lehigh Township is in a transition period with new development, which requires a business oversight without taxing the people, especially the elderly. I do support all three departments (police, maintenance, fire) while also looking out for the taxpayer. So, please, on Nov. 5, vote Gerald L. Pritchard.
Democrat McGonigle did not respond.
