Bath: Community campfire planned
Bath will be having a community campfire 7-10 p.m. Oct. 26 at Firefighters Memorial Park, North Chestnut Street.

Petersville Rod & Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will be having a Halloween dance 7-11 p.m. Oct. 26. Doors open 6 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door. The event is for adults 21 years and up.
There will be food, beverages, desserts and music by DH Productions. Costumes are optional.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, will be having a penny party Oct. 27. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and play begins 1 p.m.
The kitchen will be open throughout the event. There will also be a Chinese auction and games of chance.
All ages are welcome. Bring your own pennies or purchase some at the event.

Bath will be having its trick-or-treat night 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

During the month of October, Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will help the Bath Area Food Bank by collecting boxed macaroni and cheese, paper towels and toilet paper.
The food bank is no longer accepting Jell-O or pudding. Monetary donations are always needed.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church is planning a trunk or treat 6:30-7:15 p.m. Nov. 1 in the parking lot.
If you would like to participate in the trunk part of the event - handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters from your decorated trunk - plan to arrive at the parking lot 6-6:20 p.m. to set up.
After the parking lot fun, everyone will be asked to gather inside 7:15 p.m. for a Halloween recital. Musicians of all levels and ages are invited to share their talent.

Bath Lions Club International will present its second annual toy basket raffle.
It is set for 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 23 and then 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 24.
The group is currently accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys, with a minimum value of $20, as well as monetary donations, which will enable them to purchase toys for the raffle. Gift cards will not be accepted.
Donations may be dropped off at My Place Pizza Restaurant, 270 E. Northampton St., or the law office of Daniel Spengler, 110 E. Main St., during normal business hours.
The raffle will be held in the fellowship hall at Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St.
Parking is at Bath Borough Hall, 121 S. Walnut St.
The drawing will be 3:30 p.m. Nov. 24. The grand prize, sponsored by Keystone Cement Company, is $500.
