Students at SHS and Salisbury Middle School can now register to be a part of the ski club. The ski club will travel to Blue Mountain Resort every Thursday night between Jan 9, 2020 and Feb. 6, 2020 (weather permitting). Students will have the opportunity to hone their skiing skills and spend time with friends. The deadline to register is Nov. 1. See the district website www.salisburytownshipsd.org for more information.

All juniors and sophomores who elect to, are taking the PSAT today. Good luck!

Oct. 18 is the last day to sign up for dual enrollment. This is an opportunity for students to receive college credit for classes they are already taking at SHS. Interested students must fill out the registration form by the deadline. See Mrs. Moyer in guidance for more information.

There are still many colleges and universities visiting SHS to talk to prospective students about their institutions. All juniors and seniors are welcome to attend, but must receive a pass from the guidance office at least one day in advance. Also, seniors have the opportunity to apply for an immediate decision day. This is where a college admissions counselor visits SHS and decides on the spot if the student is accepted to the college/ university. Congratulations to all of the students accepted on immediate decision days so far! There is still a chance to apply for an immediate decision from Moravian College. All applications must be submitted by Oct. 16.

Finally, the high school will have an early dismissal 12:15 p.m. Oct. 18.
