Debra E. Kistler, 65, of Macungie, died Oct. 7, 2019. She died peacefully surrounded by the love and support of her family and lifelong friends. Comprised of her friends and sister, “Team Deb” cared for her throughout the last year, showing her the love she had given them throughout her life. She was the wife and soul mate of the late Fred Kistler who died in 2011. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Donald J. Guth and Mildred E. (Laudenslager) Herbinko and stepmother Dorothy M. (Haas) Guth.
She and her husband loved to travel, along with their Bouvier des Flanders, Truman and cat, Bud.
She enjoyed fine art, fashion, traveling with her husband and Truman, being outdoors and gardening, her “kids” (pets) and jazz. She was always beautiful and dressed to perfection, finishing each outfit with a great hat.
She is survived by her mother; stepmother; sister, Cynthia A. (Guth) Radcliffe; stepsister, Suzanne (Laudenslager) Eckert; Bouvier, Truman; sister-in-law, Velma; nephews, Kyle Radcliffe and Vance; nieces, Sara Eckert, Kristen Radcliffe and Cynthia Hallock. She was predeceased by her husband; father; stepbrother, Larry Laudenslager; brother-in-law, George W. Jr.; many faithful canine and feline companions.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Animals in Distress, P.O. Box 609, Coopersburg, 18036.
In honor of her wishes, immediate memorial services will not be held. A Celebration of Life will take place at a date and time to be determined. Arrangements were made by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
