To the Editor:
Over the past few years, South Whitehall has been a mecca of proposed and actual massive, dense developments which have been approved by the board of commissioners following the present zoning comprehensive plan.
If this continues, the safety, quality of life, landscape, and overall character of South Whitehall Township will forever be changed.
Michael Wolk is a candidate for commissioner who has lived in South Whitehall for 31 years.
He truly cares about his community and has demonstrated his concern for the township by tirelessly advocating for the safety of South Whitehall residents, more balanced, moderate growth, and revision of the current zoning plan.
Not only has Michael attended and spoken out at our township meetings, but he has also met with the developer of the massive Ridge Farm project to reduce its impact, always keeping the safety and well-being of South Whitehall’s current and future residents as priority.
Michael is a proven leader, a devoted family man of honesty and integrity, and a humble, sincere, diligent servant and voice for the residents of South Whitehall.
He is also the founder of South Whitehall Concerned Citizens, an organized group of residents who have actively challenged the density, traffic, and safety concerns of land development in the township.
Michael Wolk is deserving of our votes for the South Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners.
Please vote for him on Nov. 5.
