To the Editor:
Rising taxes, traffic congestion, strains on law enforcement and EMS budgets, infrastructure and road upgrades and housing development are the challenges that face the three commissioners who will be elected by you to take South Whitehall Township forward.
When voting, look at managerial experience, principled leadership qualities, concern for citizens’ voices, fiscal experience, transparency and their core values ... because that is what we need.
Do your homework, look at their accomplishments, talk to your neighbors and check to see who has attended most of the township board, commission and committee meetings since the primary election.
They are the candidates who have sought to learn what is happening at all levels of the township, listened and communicated ideas, volunteered to help with the 10-year plan, and were your voice on important issues.
Only two candidates have done all this - Diane Kelly and Mike Wolk.
They are volunteering to help our community and be responsible commissioners who have no political ambitions beyond serving South Whitehall Township.
Don’t sit home and hope someone will do something to plan the future. Get involved, get informed and get out to vote.
Vote for Diane and Mike for South Whitehall commissioners.
