A woman reported leaving a purse on top of the car at the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., 12:30 p.m. Sept. 5. The woman drove away, realized she left the purse and returned to find it missing.

A resident in the 900 block of Flexer Avenue reported receiving a call 10:43 a.m. Sept. 5 from a software technician with an Indian accent who said the resident needed to give them access to the computer. The charge was $300 and then additional gift cards for a total of $5,200. The resident then contacted police.

A patient at Manor Care Health Services, 1265 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., reported 4 p.m. Sept. 9, receiving a bill from T-Mobile for three phones not belonging to him. The bill was for $3,500.

A resident in the 1600 block of Cardinal Drive purchased a camper on eBay and paid $2,500 with gift cards. The seller from North Dakota said the camper would be delivered Sept. 18. The camper was never delivered and eBay later told the resident it was a scam. The fraud was reported 11:26 a.m. Sept. 17.

A resident in the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue reported an $800 withdrawal on a debit card 2:35 p.m. Sept. 17.

A purse was reported stolen at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, 10 a.m. Sept. 5. The purse contained credit cards, bank cards, identification and a small amount of cash. Police are reviewing surveillance video.

A student removed food from the student food line without paying for it 10:45 a.m. Sept. 9 at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road.

A teacher at Salisbury Middle School had a cellphone on the desk noon Sept. 11. The teacher went outside of the room and returned to find the cellphone missing. Police reviewed video which showed two students taking the cellphone. A 12-year-old male received school consequences and was referred to the Criminal Justice Panel.

A resident in the 1400 block of Fairview Road reported the theft of items 2:37 p.m. Sept. 14. An unknown person cut open a tent in the driveway and removed eight military sleeping bags and 20 green military mats valued at $800.

An employee of DevonHouse Senior Living, 1930 Bevin Drive, reported the theft of a purse from the break room 7:26 a.m. Sept. 15. The purse contained car keys, identification and $20.

Brittany Green, 26, of Allentown, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property following an incident 11:12 a.m. Sept. 19 at Ross Dress for Less, 3300 Lehigh St. A customer left an iPhone at the checkout, left the store and returned to find the cellphone missing. Store personnel and police reviewed surveillance video and found Green, a former employee, allegedly removed the phone. Green was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A “Hate Has No Home Here” sign was reported removed from a home in the 2900 block of Meadownbrook Circle 4:17 p.m. Sept. 21.

Jeffrey Teter, 45, of Nazareth, was charged with alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia 4:14 a.m. Sept. 22 at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest. Charges were filed.

Residents called police 8:38 p.m. Sept. 5 for the report of shots fired in the 1800 block of Black River Road. Police did not hear any shots after arrival.

Amy Kirchhofer, 42, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly driving while under the influence, failure to drive in lane and driving an unregistered vehicle during a traffic stop 7:58 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.

David Berghold, 56, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly driving while under the influence and failure to drive within the lane, following a one-vehicle crash in the 2300 block of Honeysuckle Road 10:41 p.m. Sept. 14. He was taken to the hospital with injuries.

A student at Salisbury High School reported losing a cellphone while in gym class 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6. The cellphone was later found.

A student at Salisbury High School reported losing a cellphone which was in a pocket 1 p.m. Sept. 10. The cellphone was not found.

A cellphone was found at Salisbury High School 8:55 a.m. Sept. 11. The cellphone was turned over to the school resource officer.

Police reported a fire in the new bathroom at Lindberg Park, 2800 Lindberg Ave., 9:40 a.m. Sept. 8. Police said there was burned toilet paper on the floor.

A locksmith truck in for service at Scott Chevrolet Saab Chrysler, 3333 Lehigh St., 9:12 a.m. Sept. 9 was found to have all the tools removed from the vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry. The tools are valued at $2,511.

Several mattresses were found at Unami Fish and Game Association, 75 Chestnut St., Emmaus, 7 p.m. Sept. 12.

A 26-year-old woman, of Allentown, was charged with alleged summary harassment following a disturbance 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at Cedar Glen Apartments, 1160 S. Cedar Crest Blvd.

Homeowners in the 700 block of Flexer Avenue left their home and returned four hours later to find the screen cut from a back window of the home. An unknown person went through drawers and removed jewelry. The unknown person exited through the back door. The burglary was reported 9:42 p.m. Sept. 14.

A vehicle windshield was discovered broken in the 1400 block of Fretz Avenue 4:29 p.m. Sept. 17.

A passenger side rear window of a vehicle was smashed while the owner was at Big Rock Park, 560 East Rock Road, 7:42 p.m. Sept. 19. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.

Two 12-year-old male Salisbury Middle School students were caught fighting in school noon Sept. 17. Both received school consequences and were referred to the Criminal Justice Panel.

Wires were torn down at Bulldog Beverage, 1648 East Emmaus Ave., 12:20 p.m. Sept. 19. A customer saw a male in a beer delivery truck pull the wires down.
