Christine E. Howells, 80, of Catasauqua, died Sept. 26, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late David A. Howells for 50 years.

Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Edwin H. Sr. and Anna (Molchany) Druckenmiller.

She was a secretary for many years for the Catasauqua Police Department. Before that, she worked for the former Two Guys, Whitehall.

She was member of St. Mary’s Church of the Annunciation B.V.M., Catasauqua.

She was a member of the Young At Heart group.

She is survived by a daughter, Edith L. Howells; a son, David E. and his wife Patricia; a daughter, Denise M. and her husband Mark Fisher; companion, Jim Ferry; a brother, John and his wife Marge Druckenmiller; five grandsons; four great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Edwin Druckenmiller; and a sister, Elizabeth Nederostek.
