The Chocolate Lab on Main Street in Bethlehem celebrated it’s 17th anniversary with an Alien Invasion party Sept. 21. A spaceship hovered over the sales counter, probably hoping to beam up some delicious chocolate. Two large Alien cutouts watched over the store and customers. Owner Arlene Brockel and her staff wore black t-shirts proclaiming “straight outta area 51”. The festivities began with face painting, story time with Miss Dana from the Bethlehem Area Public Library, and free samples of chocolate and baked goods. Outside, two local artists, Chris P. Jones and Tina Bradford Agentis, painted canvases, and later the band Owen and the Alien performed.
