Louise I. Scheirer -Moore, 65, of Chicago, Ill., died Aug. 30, 2019, at her residence. She was the wife of the late David Moore.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the Niles and Hanna (Balliet) Scheirer.

She earned degrees from both Harry S. Truman College and Roosevelt University.

She was self- employed.

She was a member of the International Society of Poets.

She is survived by a sister, Linda and her husband Michael Rennig of Whitehall; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be private.
