John P. Fignar, 62, of Northampton, died Sept. 23, 2019, at home.

Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Anna M. (Oriel) Fignar of Lansford.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church Catholic Church, Allentown, where he sang with the church choir.

He was a caretaker for his father and sister in times of need.

He is survived by four siblings, Jo Anne and her husband Daniel Kenney; Joseph F. and his wife Monica; Jeanne, with whom he resided; and Ann Marie and her husband Kerry Edinger; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a calling hour 9-10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., both Sept. 27 at the church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown, 18102.
