Consuelo G. Strohl, 94, of Macungie, died June 20, 2019, at Lehigh Commons, Macungie. She was a daughter of the late Francisco and Olivideo (Moran) Guerra and stepmother, Loretta Guerra. She was the wife of the late Edwin V. Strohl for 69 years.

She retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., where she had been a secretary and translator for the Mining Department.

She was active in the Altar Guild and the Hospitality committee at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity. She was a 25 year volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital, the Hellertown Library and Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by three children, Bruce Strohl of North Carolina, Barbara Solito (Tony) of Bethlehem and Pamela Calabrese of Macungie; four grandchildren, Christine, Stephanie, Ryan and Sarah; and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Blaise and Garrett.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Adolph, Bernard and Louis; two sisters, Elidia and Mary; a daughter-in-law, Ellie Strohl; and a step-sister, Theresa.
