Arthur Piatt, 92, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 19, 2019. Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Ira and Alta (Stackhouse) Piatt. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Wismer) Piatt and later the companion of the late Jean Stoll.
He was a 1944 graduate of Bethlehem Vo-Tech.
He was in the U. S. Army during World War II.
He was an estimator and drafter at Bethlehem Steel Corp. for many years before retiring. Prior to that, he worked for Luria Steel and Air Products.
He was a member of Christ Church U.C.C., Bethlehem where he was on the consistory.
He was in the church senior card club, was a league bowler, was active with the Jollietes and volunteered with Share Care.
He is survived by two daughters, Bonny Campbell (Raymond) and Sheree Piatt (with whom he resided), of Bethlehem; a son, the Rev. Gary (Janet) of Allentown; two sisters, Joan Saeger of Gilbert and May Finken of Easton; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Bond and Shirley Jones; and four brothers, Ira Jr., Richard, Ronald and Robert Piatt.
