Lehigh Township Historical Society is presenting a free program on Pennsylvania German gravestones 11 a.m. Oct. 12 in the social hall of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Indianland, 787 Almond Road.

Michael Emery, of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, will discuss the materials used, engraved text and decorative styles found on the grave markers. After the presentation, there will be a walk through the cemetery to view the old stones.

The St. Paul’s Schoolhouse next to the church will also be open 10-11 a.m. and noon-2 p.m.
