Edgar Carmelo Negron Sr., 65, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 3, 2019. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Carmelo Negron and of Ana Santiago. He was the husband of Rita Werkheiser for more than 25 years.

He was a Liberty HS graduate.

He was a talented cook and worked in local restaurants.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Edgar Manuel Jr.; a daughter, Chrissy; and a granddaughter, Michelae Negron.

He was predeceased by three siblings, Carmelo Negron Jr., Jose Negron and Eledes Davis.
