September is here! Now summer is gone!
Soon there’ll be leaves falling onto your lawn.
Flowers will wither and die, until spring.
But, beautiful colors, September will bring.
Colors of autumn, when leaves start to fall;
Trees will exhibit great beauty for all.
Autumn takes over, and beauty abounds,
Splashes of color will spread all around.
Leaves of orange, purple, yellow and red,
Colorful leaves in the flower bed.
Rakes will be scooping the leaves as they die,
To put in a pile in which children will fly.
There’s nothing like jumping in leaves piled high,
To bring out the neighbors, so they all can try.
It won’t take long before the air will get cold.
The nights will get longer, and low and behold,
Autumn will pass to make way for the snow,
As winter arrives, to say its hello.
Seasons pass by in the blink of an eye.
We just say hello, then it’s time to say bye.
So take in the wonder we’re about to share,
Get out and explore all the colors out there.
Enjoy every season; they go by too fast,
As much as we love them, they will not last!
