Walter “Chuck” J. Frisch, 85, of Germansville, died Aug. 20, 2019, at Fellowship Terrace, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Bette J. (Handwerk) Frisch.

Born in North Coplay, he was the son of the late Frank and Gisella (Haber) Frisch.

He was employed at the former Coplay Cement Company for 35 years before retiring in 1995.

He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Slatington, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and served as Eucharistic minister.

He was a longtime member of Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club and the Heidelberg Game Protective Association.

He is survived by children, Cathy E. Poust of Macungie, Caroleen B. Frassinelli (with Paul) of Anderson, S.C., Walter F. Frisch (with Kelly) of Germansville, Colette J. Wint (with Paul) of Hellertown and John J. Frisch of Germansville; a sister, Dorothy Molchany of Coplay; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation 9-10:15 a.m. at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m., Aug. 30 at the church, 633 W. Washington St., Slatington.
