Nevin R. George, 95, of Whitehall, died Aug. 26, 2019, at home. He was the husband of Eleanor L. (Rudolph) for 25 years and of the late Anna G. (Bachman) George.

Born in Albany Township, he was a son of the late Victor and Elsie (Hamm) George.

He was a production inspector for the former Western Electric, Allentown, for 23 years before he retired. In his youth, he worked on the family farm in Lynn Township.

He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard N. and his wife Gloria of Schnecksville and David C. and his wife Denise of Whitehall; four stepchildren, Linda Frederick and her husband Don of Whitehall, Wayne Brunner and his companion Megan of Lehighton, Jeffrey Brunner of Schnecksville and Barry Brunner and his wife Sheri of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Rebecca, Amanda, Ashley, Kristy, Tyler and Taylor; six stepgrandchildren, Leanne, Lisa, Jessie, Brian, Matthew and Brandy; four great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Anna Mae George; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Paul, Maurice and Mark George; and a sister, Lovie George.

There will be a visitation hour 10-11 a.m., followed by services 11 a.m., Aug. 29 at the church, 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli.

Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
