Northampton County’s Area Agency on Aging

and Lamont McClure are pleased to announce coupons are still being distributed for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Four $5 coupons worth $20 will be available to Northampton County residents age 60 and over who meet the income eligibility requirements.

Income Eligibility

1 person - $23,107 2 people - $31,284 3 people - $39,461

4 people - $47,638 5 people - $55,815 6 people - $63,992

The coupons can be used to purchase food at farmer’s markets. Proof of age and residence must be presented by all persons wishing to receive coupons. Program policies allow a person to obtain coupons for another person only if they have a completed and signed proxy form. A person may only serve as proxy for up to four other participants. Identification with date of birth and address, of the older adult, must be shown when presenting a proxy.

The form will be available for pick-up at the AAA office, 2801 Emrick Boulevard, Bethlehem on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m.-noon and Thursdays from 1 – 4:40 p.m.

Persons may only receive coupons once during the program, which runs from June 3 until Sept. 26.
