NOTE: Considering the number of people who come to Musikfest over 10 days each year and the number of persons arrested, the arrest rate is extremely low.

Mathematically speaking, if we use the average arrest number (45 ) from over the past 16 years, the percent rate of people arrested is .0045 percent per 1,000,000 people or .00225 per 500,000 people.

This year approximately 1.2 million people came to and passed through Musikfest 2019.

This year’s arrest rate per 1.2 million people is .00316 percent. That percent rate amount of arrests for the amount of people who came to and through Musikfest in 2019 is statistically extremely low.

Consider it this way, 1 percent of 1.2 million people is 12,000 people. BPD made 38 arrests. I would consider that outstanding crowd, traffic, policing and coordination between the city and Artsquest.
