Bethlehem’s very own, Gabi Demartino and fellow cast members of “Blood Queens” paid homage to their home city by offering legions of fans a free meet and greet at the ArtsQuest Center during MusikFest Aug. 9.

“Blood Queens” is a horror-comedy web series spin off to Fox’s “Scream Queens.” The parody series circles around the main characters becoming locked inside an apartment complex, which was once an historic hotel, after a socialite was murdered. The featured hotel happens to be Lehigh Valley’s very own Hotel Bethlehem where DeMartino and her friends work diligently to unmask the unknown killer. “Blood Queens” recently aired season 3 on DeMartino’s ‘Fancy Vlogs’ Youtube channel which starred Gabi DeMartino, Alex Byrd, Tiago Soares, Alessandra DeMartino, Collin Vogt, Thomas Hughes, Allie Bennicas and Nash Torres. The series is a smash hit with over 3 million subscribers watching daily.

Fans of the cast lined up from the door, snaking their way around vendors and their trailers in front of the building and around the corner. Teens and children dressed up with signs in hand patiently waited hours before the meet and greet was scheduled to start. Once let in, one by one they all got to say hello to their personal favorite cast members, give hugs, and take photos. Super fans and locals to the area Haley Dubois, Olivia Basile, Makenna Rutkowski and Hailey Burger expressed how excited they were about meeting Gabi as she is their favorite cast member.

“The meet and greet amazed me,” said cast member Allie Bennicas. “To see the amount of people in the area who love and support what my friends and I do is incredible! The ‘Blood Queens’ cast is truly like family to me.”
