Margaret Mary Gaspar, steel supervisor, trainer

Margaret Mary Gaspar, 97, of Bethlehem, died August 16, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Niklas and Hermina (Kundek) Timko. She was the wife of the late Michael G. Gaspar Sr. She was a supervisor and trainer for Bethlehem Steel, from which she retired in 1951.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she was a secretary from 1977 to 1988.

She is survived by a son, Michael G. Jr. and his wife Jean Marie of Palm Harbor, Florida; a daughter, Marybeth Gaspar of Bethlehem, with whom she resided; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, John, Nicholas and Stephen Timko; and three sisters, Mary Timko, Helen Wieder and Agnes Bragg.
