Frances M. Jaggers, 79, of Slatington, died July 27, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Edward Jaggers.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late George and Priscilla (Brungard) Schlacter.

She worked as a hairdresser at the former Hess’s Department Store, Allentown.

She was formerly a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, North Catasauqua.

She is survived by a daughter, Michele Hagenbuch; two grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Lee Sokolowski and Edward Hagenbuch; four brothers, Anthony, George, Larry and Joseph; and three sisters, Victoria Hillman, Cathy Pustai and Priscilla Shemanski.

She was predeceased by a brother, James.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m., Aug. 2 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, 18032.
