Every year around the middle of July, Jackie Russ-Harford opens Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St., to a charity event sponsored by the Steel Valley Motorcycle Club. This year’s event was July 21.
“At this time of the year, we do our bikini bike wash,” Russ-Hartford said.
She reported all the proceeds go to No Kill Lehigh Valley and FURR (Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab).
Steve & Steve played their country tunes.
Bikers come from all the surrounding communities to mingle with their friends and help raise funds.
There was a Chinese auction as well.
According to a Facebook post on the Fossil’s Last Stand page, $1,110 was raised for the two animal charities.
