Jagjit Singh Saini, 29, of Bethlehem, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence at a traffic stop on Brookside Road at Cornerstone Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:07 a.m. June 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Jared Paul Clarke, 21, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop for lane movement violations on Brookside Road at Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:26 p.m. June 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Elisabeth Marie Nunez- Roma, 52, of Emmaus, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after she allegedly was involved in a hit and run accident witnessed by members of Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at South Fifth and Broad streets, Emmaus, 1:50 a.m. May 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Nathan Charles Grubel, 25, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop for vehicle violations at the intersection of Sauerkraut Lane and Sauterne Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:05 a.m. June 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Shelby Joy Loewenstern, 30, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper responded to a report of an erratic driver striking a curb along Steinsburg Road, west of Hill Street, Lower Milford Township, 11:22 p.m. July 2.
Two 19-year-old females, both of Binghamton, N.Y., were charged with alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana after a Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper responded to the parking lot of Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:13 p.m. June 16 for the report of two females smoking marijuana while inside a red vehicle at the store.
Danielle Mae Long, 31, of Allentown, was taken into custody for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and THC oil after she disclosed to police she had the oil and drug paraphernalia inside her backpack when located by police on Elm Drive at Kressler Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:43 p.m. June 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 43-year-old female, of Coopersburg, was charged with drug possession after a traffic stop along Chestnut Street at Green Drive, Emmaus borough, 11:31 p.m. July 14. Drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view in the vehicle and contained suspected crack cocaine and THC oil, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A male suspect wearing a Nike sweatshirt with a pull tight hood allegedly attempted to deposit a fraudulent check at Embassy Bank, 6379 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 1:30 p.m. May 29. Suspects attempted to remove merchandise valued at $884.83 from Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:24 p.m. June 28.
A suspect attempted to under ring merchandise valued at $76.32 at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:25 p.m July 11.
A black laptop computer, valued at $1,100, a gray backpack, valued at $100 and $1 in change were removed from two vehicles in the 1300 block of Mohr Circle, Lower Macungie Township, between 12:30 and 6 a.m. June 26.
Jewelry valued at approximately $8,700 was removed from a residence on Brookstone Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 9:45 a.m. June 10 and 9:30 a.m. June 11. Pennsylvania State Police responded to the location on a report of jewelry allegedly taken while movers from a hired moving company were inside the residence. The items allegedly were taken from an upstairs bathroom and included a wedding ring valued at $6,000, a ring valued at $400, a pearl necklace valued at $500 and a ring valued at $1,800. A resident of Carmel Drive reported a mailbox was stolen from its post June 10. The resident heard a loud bang prior to the disappearance of the mailbox. A 38-year-old male, of Macungie, was charged with discharging fireworks within 150 feet of an occupied structure after a Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper was dispatched to the 6700 block of Stein Way, Lower Macungie Township, 9:31 p.m. June 29, for reports of fireworks being set off in a neighborhood.
An 81-year-old female, of Macungie, reported to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville that she was contacted by various people claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House telling her she was eligible for numerous awards. She was contacted between Jan. 1, 2018 and May 14. In order to claim her rewards, the woman was told she had to provide funds to the callers, which she did. The total loss is estimated at $300,000. The incident was reported at a location on Four Seasons Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township.
An 86-year-old male, of Macungie, reported to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville that he was contacted March 29 by a company whose services he had previously used. He was informed he was eligible for a refund but needed to purchase gift cards totaling $4,000 to receive the refund. He did so and provided the gift card and pin number information. He never received his refund. The incident was reported in the 1800 block of Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, April 25.
A garage door opener, valued at $15, was removed from a residence along Mine Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 7 p.m. July 2 and noon July 3.
