A resident in the 800 block of South Elizabeth Street told police 9:52 a.m. July 11, a driver’s side window of a vehicle on the property was smashed and a Michael Kors purse was stolen. The purse was valued at $30 and the window is valued at $300.
A resident in the 2200 block of Yorkshire Circle told police she booked a vacation condo via Craig’s List and gave a deposit of $641 via Zelle, a banking app. When the resident called to confirm the reservation, there was no such record of a booking. The incident was reported 12:45 p.m. July 12.
A resident in the 1000 block of Public Road told police 2 p.m. July 12, a neighbor is shooting alleged illegal fireworks. The resident turned over video and debris to police.
Police were called to the 2200 block of South Dauphin Street 9:30 p.m. July 13 for the report of fireworks. Police were unable to locate anyone shooting fireworks.
A resident in the 700 block of South Glenwood Street returned from vacation to find items moved around and items removed from the home. A shotgun valued at $500 and a muzzle loader valued at $900 were removed as well as miscellaneous jewelry. Police are investigating.
A 42-year-old woman, of Salisbury, was charged with summary harassment following an alleged incident in the 700 block of Mortimer Street 8:04 p.m. July 15.
A resident in the 1100 block of Americus Avenue told police 9:45 a.m. July 15, a Sprint account was opened in the resident’s name in April. The resident received a bill for $3,000. The resident does not have a Sprint account.
A patient at Manor Care Health Services told police 3:51 p.m. July 16, someone stole $80 from a wallet in the room. Police are investigating.
An unknown person removed a push mower valued at $250 and a power washer valued at $475 from an open shed at a home in the 500 block of East Federal Street sometime between July 4 and 17.
An unknown person slashed the tires on a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of East Susquehanna Street. The incident was reported 8:12 a.m. July 17.
