Carmen Martucci, 86, of Whitehall, died July 19, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Kathryn (Ward) Martucci for 64 years.

Born in Lehighton, he was a son of James and Dorothy Martucci.

A Lehighton High School graduate, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University and a Master of Education degree from Temple University.

He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.

He was an educator, coach, umpire and health and wellness entrepreneur.

He was inducted in 2000 to the Carbon County Sports Halls of Fame and in 2003 to the East Stroudsburg University Sports Halls of Fame.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Dennis and his wife Karen, Lee and his wife Trina and John and his wife Sarah; a daughter, Terri and her husband Bill Shelton; nine grandchildren, Katie, J.C., Teddy, Skylr, Sammy, Colin, Logan, Elyse and Brooke; and a sister, Maryann and her husband Ted Smith.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Debra; and two brothers, Leonard and Nicholas.
