LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

WESTERN SALISBURY COLUMN

Have you ever taken your children to a live theater performance? DeSales University has one of the best children’s theaters in the Lehigh Valley. I used to take my boys there every summer and they loved it. Children have the option to sit in a regular seat or on the carpet surrounding the stage. After every performance, the actors come to the foyer for photos and autographs. This year they are performing “The Adventures of Robin Hood and Maid Marian.” Showtimes are 10 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday at the Schubert Theatre. Visit www.pashakespeare.org to purchase tickets. But hurry, the show only runs through Aug. 3.

Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church will hold its annual Christmas in July craft and vendor fair 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 20.

The schedule for the AMC theaters summer movie camp is: July 24 – “The House with a Clock in its Walls” and July 31 – “Trolls.”
