Wally “Sonny” Beck Jr., 80, of Bethlehem, died June 28, 2019, in his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Walter and Harriet (Ritter) Beck Sr. He was the husband of Ann (Schimmel) Beck for 35 years.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He worked for over 30 years for the former Western Electric and Lucent Technologies.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Walter Beck, Robert Rowe and David Rowe; three daughters, Julie “Beck” Pecuch, Deborah Trexler and Karen Bitterle; a sister, Sandra Trommatter; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Katherine Repnyck.
