Raymond B. Lipsky, 80, of Bethlehem, died June 27, 2019, in his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Agnes and Henry Lipsky. He was the husband of Carolyn Lipsky for 50 years.
He was a 1956 graduate of Bethlehem High School.
He was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957-1960 and was stationed in Albany, Georgia.
He worked for Banko Beverages and then with Bethlehem Steel for 26 years. He was a school bus driver for the Bethlehem Area School District for 23 years.
He was an Eucharistic Minister for Notre Dame Parish and visited the sick at Muhlenberg.
He was a Cub and Scout Master for Troop 352 at Notre Dame of Bethlehem. For many years, he was involved in coaching for Northwest Little League and CYO baseball.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Raymond and his wife Tina; two grandchildren, Vivian and J.D. (Joseph Douglas); three sisters, Loretta Repasch (Jim), Marcy Scheetz (Randy Lawler) and Arlene Gawlik (Ron); eight nephews, Scott Mauer, Ron Gawlik, Michael Gawlik, Jim Repasch, John Balint, Mike Balint, Col. Matt Balint, U.S. Army and Mark Balint; and two nieces, Sharon (Mauer) Steele and Deborah (Scheetz) Falcone.
